It may seem strange, but the name “Levitra” doesn’t mean anything at all. Then why was it so named? Like most brand names for medication, the name was chosen to sound like words that instill a positive feeling in their users. In the case of Viagra, the name was chosen to cognize the latin word for life, which is “vita” from where we get the words “vital” and “vitamin”. Via also sounds like “vigor” “alive” “viable”.
As for “gra” the cognate is probably “grow”. So the name is meant to make the user associate with the ideas of strong life and growth, and for obvious reasons. Levitra followed the same reasoning, as the name sounds like “Levitate” “vitality” and “live”. The drugs in both Viagra and Levitra, known as sildenafil and vardenafil respectively, are essentially the same molecule with slight differences, but they have the same molecular shape.
The question then, is, what’s the difference? The answer is it depends on the user. Depending on the exact chemistry of your body and what chemical receptors you have, your body may be more responsive to sildenafil or vardenafil. The best thing to do is try out both of them by ordering trial packs and see which one performs better for you. Once you conduct a trial period of a few weeks for each medication, you will learn what you are personally more comfortable with. From then on, consistency is the name of the game. Stick with what works for you, and you’ll get the most out of it.
