This drug may cause side effects and there are certain important instructions that one should take into consideration while using Levitra.

? Side-effects: – Truth is drugs have side effects. Being a drug, Levitra is not an exception. It has a few side effects. But these side effects are not sure to hit everyone. These side effects may not be experienced by all and in most of the cases, these can be survived without taking any precautionary measures. However, immediate medical attention is needed if anyone encounters:

For those living in the United States, purchasing your prescription medications online via a Canadian or mail order pharmacy is probably one of the best financial decisions that you could ever make. It is quite possible for you to save as much as 80% by buying from across the border, and obviously this depends on the specific prescription medication that you are seeking to purchase. So why are prices so much cheaper in Canada? Well, the Canadian Government maintains strict control over the prices of prescription drugs, and limits the prices that companies in the pharmaceutical industry can charge. This allows affordable prescription drug access for the entire population, and now also for a lot of Americans who fill their prescriptions cross-border. Many save hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars per month.

Finally, the key to making your fulfilment of an online or mailorder Canadian prescription a successful one, is to ensure that you purchase from a registered and licensed online pharmacy. There are many sites offering Levitra and other prescription medication online, so do your investigating to ensure that you don’t get entangled with illegal operators.

New findings on the long-term benefits of Levitra showed that men with erectile dysfunction (ED) and taking Levitra reported clinically significant and sustained improvement in erectile function (EF) over a two-year period. Levitra was also shown to be a reliable and fast-acting agent for the treatment of ED in patients participating in clinical trials. Results from the new studies were presented at the 2nd International Consultation on Erectile and Sexual Dysfunctions, Paris, France, a meeting supported by the World Health Organisation.

A total of 755 men with erectile dysfunction completed a one-year treatment period with Levitra. Of those, 566 men agreed to continue receiving Levitra 10 mg or 20 mg in a double-blind study for an additional year. Of the 479 men who completed the study, two-year results showed:

  • Nine in ten men taking Levitra reported improved erections throughout the study period (92% of men taking Levitra 20 mg and 90% of men taking Levitra 10 mg)
  • Not only did Levitra significantly improve men’s erectile function, but study participants were reportedly five times more likely, on average, to maintain their erections through completion of sexual intercourse (89% vs. 17% at baseline for men taking Levitra 20 mg and 87% vs. 16% at baseline for men taking Levitra 10 mg)

Additional data demonstrate the long-term safety (including cardiovascular safety) and efficacy of Levitra, show sexual response as early as 16 minutes, and indicate that the medication remains largely unaffected by food and alcohol.

Title: Andiron’s Levitra Experiment – opinions wanted

Date published: January 18th, 2009

In the past I’ve tried Viagra. I wouldn’t describe it as the best feeling…or a feeling of heightened sexuality…but I would say that getting an erection was easy and quite strong. I cannot remember the strength…but the Viagra I used was from my doctor as a sample after it first came to market. I’ve gone years now where I did not use the Viagra. I didn’t like the facial flush and the headache. Still…I would have to say it worked very well. The slightest arousal of my mind caused me to have an erection. I would say my problems are mostly due to anxiety. NOW…fast forward to the present. I went to my doctor and asked him about the different pills. He only had samples of Levitra on hand. So..he gave me a few packs of 10mg. Levitra pills.

Tonight…I decided to give it a trial run. Just about 2 hours ago I took half of a 10mg pill. I waited for 30 minutes and tried to think really arousing thoughts. I had no erection coming about…so at the 40 minute mark I decided to take the other half of the pill. So…it was staggered…but I finally had the full pill on board within 40 minutes. At the one hour point from taking the first 5mg…I decided I should be able to have a rock cutter of an erection. But I did not. So…I got up and went to the computer. I tried to get some images on the screen that would be arousing. I accidentally got more than I bargained for and ran into some really hard core images. Well…I started to spring to life…but not even as good as usual. Keep in mind…there was no performance anxiety going on here! I continued to fantasize and was able to satisfy myself. But…I must say…I don’t know how much the pill helped! I can say that I had half of a pizza earlier this evening…with plenty of cheese. Don’t know if that could of had an effect on the results. Any flushing I feel is minor compared to my memory of the Viagra. I sit here now…2 hours later and don’t have a headache. Interestingly enough, I almost felt like my penis was a little on the numb side after taking this pill. It’s hard to describe. So..now I’m afraid to depend on the Levitra when the performance really counts!

Good: minor amount of flushing, no headache, vision normal. Felt a little assistance with erection..but not much.

Bad: not sure it’s going to work for me when I really want to depend on it! Didn’t feel the enhanced 20 year old man…diamond cutter feelings that I expected. (read somewhere in these forums where an 80 year old man said Levitra gave him the best he’d ever had)

So…should I just take it for granted that Viagra worked better for me and pack up the Levitra? Should I take the 10mg all at once and not have any food first? Should I up the dose to 20mg?

I know a sexual encounter is coming soon…and I don’t want to worry! I want to rock her world!

What do you think?

Title: What is the difference between Soft and Regular pills?

Category: FAQ
Date published: January 17th, 2009

Question:

What is the difference between Soft and Regular levitra pills? My order was for “soft” tabs but the levitra pills I received are hard!

Answer:

“Soft” and “regular” are just terms describing the method of use. Soft pills are meant for sublingual administration. They are put under the tongue till they dissolve. Regular pills are taken with water. Both “soft” and “regular” pills are hard in their consistence.

Title: Ask yourself questions

Category: Erectile Dysfunction, Erection Problems, FAQ
Date published: January 15th, 2009

Can you achieve an erection by masturbation but not with your partner, and do you still sometimes wake with an erection? If the answers are ‘yes’, a psychological reason, such as stress or depression, is likely.

Did loss of erections come on suddenly, or have erections gradually been failing over a long period of time? Erectile failure which comes on suddenly is usually psychological; physical causes usually have a more gradual onset.

Have you been under extra stress lately? If so, is there any way you can lessen the stress in your life?

Are you taking any drugs (see above) that might be responsible? If so, ask your doctor for alternatives.

Are you drinking too much? Blood alcohol concentrations of up to about 25 mg/100 mL improve erections slightly, but when the level reaches about 40 mg/100 mL erection is inhibited. In some people, only one or two drinks is enough to raise the blood alcohol to this level. Heavy drinking over a long period can cause erectile failure because of nerve damage.

Who is really bothered by the problem – you or your partner? Talk to your partner about what each of you wants from sex. As sex counselor Susie Hayman says, “It’s amazing how many people just lie there wishing their partner was a mind reader.”

Are you a smoker? If so, can you stop? Stopping smoking will not reverse the problem, but may stop it getting worse. Also, impotence is often a sign that your arteries are unhealthy, so stopping smoking is important to lessen the risk of a heart attack.

Have you had your blood pressure checked recently and been tested for diabetes? Many men with impotence have unhealthy arteries and high blood pressure, so a check of your blood pressure and blood lipids (e.g. cholesterol) are necessary. Impotence can also be a symptom of diabetes
